The Money List is an independent journalistic endeavor motivated by the ever-growing wealth disparity that plagues the United States and the wanton disregard for basic human needs in the name of shareholder profits and perceived power.

Citizen journalism is a powerful tool protected in America by the Constitution of the United States. So important was this power to the founders of the country that these protections were enshrined forever in very first amendment of the Bill of Rights. It is vital, especially now, to gather, collect, share, examine, scrutinize, categorize, comment on, and otherwise document matters of public interest. We can think of no matter of greater public interest than that of the public's own continued health and prosperity.
